How to Use Checkdisk Utility

   Checkdisk can check for any drive related errors like badsectors,etc.
  1) Press "win" +"r" key.
  2) Type "CMD" and Press "Enter".
  3) Type " chkdsk drivename " (c:, d: or e:) and Press "Enter".
  
  Apart from checking a drive for errors checkdisk utility can also be used
to rectify drive errors, if the drive shows "Open With" when you click on
it.
To use checkdisk to rectify drive realted errors we use the /f parameter
eg: chkdsk d: /f
Note: chkdsk does not run on system drive, it will run when the system 
boots up.
